Tip Tinner is de-signed to clean off carbonized flux residues and simultaneously re-tin oxidized soldering tips of hand (de)-soldering equipment that uses wet-table soldering tips.

A clean soldering tip gives better heat transfer and will optimize the takt times in a hand soldering process.

The soldering tip is first cleaned with a damp sponge or brass sponge, then secondly, dipped into the Tip Tinner and moved gently around. Repeat these two steps until wetting of the metal and recovering of the tip has occurred. Then, only a final step of passing the tip over a wet sponge is needed to complete the process.
